Paul Calvert, PT - Owner, Physical Therapist & Clinical Director
Paul Calvert, PT is the owner and clinical director at the Lakeside Physical Therapy. Paul pursued a career in physical therapy following his service in the U.S. Marine Corp. He attended WVU School of physical therapy and graduated Summa Cum Laude in 1994. Over the last 23 years, Paul has specialized in manual therapy techniques and attended training around the country and Australia. His mission has always been patient-centered practice and he hope to continue this path in a tight knit family practice that focuses on you and your goals. Paul is well known in the community for superior results and would love to assist you in returning to the activities that you enjoy most.
Kari Calvert, MSPT - Owner, Physical Therapist & Administrator
Kari Calvert, MSPT attended Gannon University where she completed her master’s degree in Physical Therapy and graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1998. She has worked in variety of settings over the last 19 years, but has a true passion for the pediatric population. Kari provides early intervention physical therapy services through the WV Birth to Three programs and sees pediatric clients at the office as time allows. Kari has been an adjunct professor for WVU School of Medicine PT Program. Where she helps teach pediatrics courses. She too has attended training around the country to specialize in pediatrics and is well known in the community for great results. Paul and Kari also have three children (Cody, Hannah, and Preston) that keep them very busy.
Kendelyn Eddy, Physical Therapist Assistant
Kendelyn Eddy, PTA, graduated from the Physical Therapist Assistant program at Pierpont Community & Technical College in 2014. She joined the Lakeside Physical Therapy team the same year. Kendelyn enjoys aquatic therapy, as well as working with the elderly. On weekends, she enjoys being outdoors with her family, friends and two dogs.
Doug Wilson, Exercise Physiologist & Fitness Manager
Doug Wilson, Exercise Physiologist at Lakeside Physical Therapy, he graduated from WVU in 2008. Doug began working at Lakeside Physical Therapy in 2010 and serves as Fitness Manager. Doug enjoys working with the fitness members and patients, as he sees the progress they make through exercise and therapy. He helps patient’s transition to the fitness center after they complete their physical therapy, by creating exercise programs tailored to fit their needs. While not working, Doug enjoys attending WVU football and basketball games, being outdoors, and spending time with his wife and dog.
Janice Manzo, Certified Pilates & Yoga Instructor
Janice Manzo, is a certified Pilates and yoga instructor with 24 years of experience in the fitness industry. She was previously employed as a personal trainer and instructor of various types of fitness programs, including kickboxing and step fitness.
Jessica Nuckles, Certified Yoga Instructor
Jessica Nuckles serves as the in-house yoga instructor at Lakeside Physical Therapy. She teaches weekly classes in Chair Yoga, as well as a weekly Happy Hour Yoga session, which is great for beginners! Jessica is also available for private yoga sessions. Her passion for yoga is all encompassing, but she is particularly fond of integrating yoga into therapy for those with special needs. Jessica also enjoys hosting classes for children.
